The theory and techniques come from various oriental medicines such as Tuina (Chinese), Ayurveda (Indian) and Pidjit (Indonesian). Supplemented with modern Western knowledge (such as Anatomy Trains, etc.). All workshops/training days can be attended separately and each year has a different theme. The theme for 2024 is Yin. The best-known energy channels or meridians are located on the surface of the body, but there are also channels that lie deep in the body. In this spring's massage course we will explore these deep energy channels. The massages are calmer and more focused on loosening/supporting the deep structures and/or energy channels. Teacher Kierty Verbooy was trained by Chinese monks and has more than 45 years of experience in massaging and treating people using Martial Acupuncture. We work in small groups.
